What Wanderers are saying.
Our favourite thing was just how stuning the location was.
Our family experienced a deep immersion in nature without the trade-off of quality, comfort or sustainability.

I am so blown away by that incredible experience.
Everything about the WanderPod was better than I even thought, and I knew it would be great. It’s so cosy and luxurious, incredibly well appointed, and comfortable. The bed was one of our highlights most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on. The view is mind blowing, and the location was so perfect for what we wanted.
Paige K.
We loved the quiet, the solitude and the outdoor bath! And the views! A short drive to yummy lunch at Stokes Beach and the rock pool cafe. We loved seeing the Kanahroos. The stars at night were spectacular and having yummy coffee to wake up to.

How do you get there?
Welcome to Australia’s third largest island.
There are a couple of ways to get to Kangaroo Island, and we strongly suggest this is not a trip to rush. Slow it right down and enjoy the journey.
Your Wander experience is lucky enough to be located on one of the best beaches on the north coast of the island. Please keep in mind this is a remote destination and the island has many dirt roads to explore.
Take to the seas.
Sealink operates daily ferries to take passengers and vehicles from Cape Jervis on the mainland to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island with a 45min trip one way.
Wander is a 1hr 20min drive from the ferry terminal.
We recommend booking your ferry and accommodation together to ensure you get the dates you need.
Take to the skies.
QantasLink are flying from Adelaide to Kingscote Airport on Kangaroo Island several times a week with a short 35min flight one way.
Wander is a 50min drive from the airport.
Take to the open roads.
We strongly suggest taking a car and although most areas are accessible with a 2WD, there are a lot of dirt roads. To hire a car on the island, check out Hertz and Budget or look at a Private Transfer.
There are also plenty of hire options from Adelaide.
Experiences handpicked by Wander and yours to enjoy.
We believe that mindset change begins with the stories we tell.
Make your stay remarkable by immersing yourself in the experiences, stories and generosity of the locals.
