⸻ What's considered

Go where the day slows down.

Some trips are a checklist: arrive, photograph, move on. A stay with Wander works the other way.

Nothing here rewards rushing. A comfortable pod at the end of a long dirt road, off the grid, where the phone signal fades and the day comes back to its full size. We built Wander for that exact reason.

Be hard to reach, on purpose.
Be somewhere worth doing nothing.
Do less, properly.

Wander is a transformational travel company with a growing network of considered architect-designed, off-grid pods sitting lightly across Australia's wildest and quietest places.

B Corp certified, low-impact and deeply quiet.

⸻ From the founder

For years I travelled the way I thought I was supposed to. Long flights, full itineraries, the next place booked before I'd landed in this one. Every place I went I tried to extract and consume as much as I could.

It changed on a morning when I was in a remote part of Australia. I had nowhere to be and nothing to answer. I could hear the wind move across the land before I felt it on my skin. I hadn't been that present in years. I understood, finally, that stillness like that isn't something you can buy. It's finding a place quiet enough to notice you already have everything you need.

Wander began in 2019 from that one recognition. The land was already doing the work; I didn't need to add anything to it. That's still the whole idea of why Wander was created, to give you that change of pace, and leave the land you came for to do the rest.

"For me, luxury isn't what money can afford. It's finding what's really rare, like time, space and stillness."

⸻ How we actually operate

Three things are true of every Wander stay.

KARTA PINTINGGA · 35.8°S 137.2°E
MUNUNJALI COUNTRY · 28.1°S 152.9°E

We name the places

Wander sits on named places: Karta Pintingga on Kangaroo Island, Mununjali Country in the Scenic Rim. We use those names everywhere we describe where we are.

75–99% RENEWABLE · B CORP certified

Powered by the sun and the sky

The pods are off-grid with 75 to 99% of total energy coming from renewable sources across our sites. Each WanderPod® is designed to sit lightly on the land: a considered footprint, built to last rather than impress.

$27K TO DATE · AS OF JUNE 2026

Your stay contributes

$10 from every direct booking goes to Bush Heritage Australia. We state what we contribute. The money is traceable and goes back to the land.

Certified,
and here's what that means

B Corp certification is a globally recognised third party audit, whereby Wander meets high standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.

01

Governance

Our mission is legally locked into our governing documents. It is a binding commitment and not a marketing line. The board reviews our social and environmental performance.

02

Workers

Every employee is paid more than award wage.

03

Community

Woman-led and majority woman-owned. Ten dollars from every direct booking to Bush Heritage Australia. Local supply chains as a priority with over 80% of cost of goods sold being sourced from the regions we operate.

04

Environment

75-99% renewable energy. We measure energy, emissions, water and waste and we are consistently improving.

05

Customers

A formal, publicly available privacy and data policy, with guest feedback and satisfaction monitored.

B Corp's own standard is continuous improvement, not perfection and we would rather name the work than imply it's done.

"Some people travel for more.
We built Wander for people who want the right kind of less."
