Battery Reset Instructions

If you run out of power you will need to reset the battery.  Please follow the instructions below:

STEP 1 – Open shed at the back of the WanderPod with code 1660

STEP 2 –Directly in front is the Red Earth solar power battery.

STEP 3 – On the top of the battery, there is a indicator panel, it should show similar to one the following;

    • If the BATT shows 0 bars, then the batteries are flat and it will need time to re-charge – if it is charging it should show ‘charging’ just above the BATT indicator
    • If the BATT shows 1 or more bars, the battery has power and the system may need a reset

To reset the solar power, follow the process as shown on the sign on the solar system. Note, the system may be continually beeping, which also indicates it needs to be reset. There is a 4 step process which is as follows:

STEP 1 – On panel 1, remove the screws holding the clear panel cover in place with your fingers and press the ‘power’ button located on the bottom left hand corner.

STEP 2 – On panel 2, on the left hand side of the unit, also remove the screws of the cover and lift the Perspex panel up.  There are five switches. Turn the 3 switches on the right hand side off (to face downwards)

STEP 3 – On panel 3, on the right hand side of the unit, turn the red knob 90 degrees anti clock wise to the ‘OFF’ position

STEP 4 – On panel 4, on the right hand side of the unit, turn the 2 switches off (face downwards)

Please wait for 30 seconds then repeats the process in reverse order, starting from panel 4 to panel 1 to turn everything back on

Once the system has powered back on and the beeping has stopped, please re-attach the covers for each of the panels using the screws.
