Genevieve Windley, our local Scenic Rim foodie entrepreneur, has teamed up with our Scenic Rim farming heroes to bring you the freshest seasonal produce. Understand the spirit, passion and inspiration of over 60 regional producers that bring the love from their land to your table.

The alluvial soil gives life to a huge variety of seasonal produce, including vegetables, olives, macadamia nuts, dairy, poultry, pork, beef, sheep, camel, finger limes, limes, coffee, avocados and rhubarb.

Gen and the team behind Scenic Rim Farm Box came up with the ‘farm to you’ idea at the start of the COVID pandemic when their entrepreneurial spirit recognised the importance to get fresh produce to people living in the city who couldn’t get out to the regions. Many months on, the idea stayed, and now Gen delivers to several areas in South East Queensland, feeding hundreds of families every week.

What.

Order your Scenic Rim Farm Box to enjoy fresh produce while staying at Wander at The Overflow 1895. Prices start from $265 inclusive of delivery and unpacking into your WanderPod on the morning of your arrival.

Please note that items are seasonal and subject to substitution when not available. Alterations to the ingredient list are otherwise not accommodated, we apologise for any inconvenience.

Where.

The Farm Box will be delivered directly to your WanderPod and unpacked into your fridge by an amazing member of our team before you arrive.

Scenic Rim Farm Box orders are only available for stays at Wander at The Overflow 1895.

When.

Deliveries must be booked with at least 10 days’ advance notice, to assist Gen and the team with planning.

Once added to your booking, your Farm Box will be delivered and unpacked into your WanderPod fridge on the morning of your arrival.

Price.

Scenic Rim Farm Boxes are available in two convenient sizes:

• $265 – for up to 2 people for 2 days.
• $336 – for up to 4 people for 2 days.

How to book.

Simply add to your cart at the time of booking your WanderPod, or look for an email from us to add a Farm Box closer to your stay.

Farm Box bookings require at least 10 days’ notice to assist Gen and the team with planning.

What else do you need?

Every WanderPod includes a kitchenette to help you prepare the best meals on your trip. The kitchenette includes a gas cooktop, sink and outdoor BBQ which is also great for roasting. Basic supplies such as olive oil, salt and pepper are also provided.

As the electricity and water used during your stay is captured and stored by the WanderPod, high consumption appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave or oven are not included in the WanderPods at The Overflow.
